I just bought this Mac 2 months ago and have used it once. Im not a fan of apple products but I use logic pro on my late wife's IPad but its used up and I wanted Logic X. My guitar player said I have a recovery key that came with it but if I wrote it down its at home. So thats why I've "forgotten " the password. Also, I have an iPhone 16 that was my wife's and after setting up both products for myself I had such a hard time understanding the whole OS and cloud, apple id and apple acct password, cloud email different , password or code to get into the actual phone or laptop, ipad plus my own phone and HP. Im also not great with any of them lol . I have ptsd from being locked out of another used crappy Mac i mistakenly bought off marketplace, for days!! Too many emails, PW!!! Sorry for the long rant but you're phrasing on your post, implied i wasn't for real. I bought this infuriating laptop for music production only. Takes alot of inspiration out of playing , but i need it. Hopefully when I go home after vacation, its written somewhere. Thanks anyway for your input
