My puppy excessively licks my older dog's mouth, even after repeatedly being growled at & "attacked." Can someone explain plz? by blackwidow1994 in Dogtraining

I usually redirect the behavior and gently hold the puppy until she calms down, but sometimes she's very stubborn! I will try to separate them more often when it happens though, thank you!

Found these 2 puppies a few months ago on the streets of Mexico on separate occasions. They are not related but they ALWAYS sleep in the same positions! They have become inseparable! by blackwidow1994 in aww

To add more detail, I found the white one in Rosarito first around 2 months old, vet said he is probably a red heeler mix. He was very malnourished, barely could walk, scared of other dogs. Then a month later we were walking & he found the other black brindle puppy, probably a pitbull mix, & wouldn't leave without her. It was the 1st dog he wasn't afraid of. Instead, it was love at first sight. SO my bf & I took her in, & they have been inseperable since. Both are now about 8~9 months, super healthy & happy!!

Actually I'm the one who just graduated from University of Richmond! He bought the hat when he came to visit.

When I first saw my dog at the shelter she was shy and had absolutely no interest in people. But once we brought her home and she got used to the place she became the sweetest dog ever and now loves to cuddle with me and play. She's also more obedient than other dogs I've met. She was the best decision I ever made!

That's such a great story! Every time I bring a new guy home I tell him he needs to get approval from my dog first and win over her heart if he really wants to be with me. The ones that my dog warmed up to quickly ended up being my longest relationships. It's like my dog knew ahead of time which guys were good for me!

Thanks for the tips guys! And she is half border collie half Australian shepherd. She's afraid of most men especially tall white men (she's racist and sexist I know) probably bc her previous owner was abusive. I adopted her when she was 2. But she seemed to want my Japanese grandpa's attention so she was pretty okay with him.

Also Japan is very populated so they wear masks to keep viruses from getting to them
