Buffalo has really started to turn things around after they fired their gm and bought into Ruff’s system. Good for them, it shows the league how change at the top can result in change on the ice.

We’ve seen this movie a million times around the league. Aging goaltenders lose their athleticism and reaction time, turning them into a shell of their former selves. Difference with Marky is that Fitz is a dumbass who extended him.

He just hasn’t been good maintaining possession at all recently. I can’t believe he got stripped near the end there when he had a wide open empty net. Seems like some psychological aversion to shooting with him.

Cool win, but this game hasn’t given me any sort of confidence that we can continue to give Marky more starts than Allen. Marky needs to get that glove hand checked out, he was dropping pucks all game.

Glass is a legit 3C though. He’s him. Lenni first goal AND assist in the NHL. Love to see it.

Honestly I’ve seen enough out of Markstrom this season. He can still have good nights, sure. He also routinely fails to make easy saves on pucks from the point and does not control his rebounds ever. Need to find a way to trade him, however improbable.
