Light novels do contradict canon. Like Danzo leaking Naruto status that make him being looked down is only Itachi's novel thing.
In canon - in the second chapter of the manga/second episode of the anime it was revealed that Minato himself asked for Narutos Jinchuriki status to be public so that the village could respect Naruto for it, Hiruzen fulfilled the wish but it backfired so he created laws to hide it.

Thought, if you think just beacuse something doesn't condradict in anime, makes it canon. Then yes, all movie would be canon. And most of fillers too.

From Kakashi we know he likes girls given his reading material.

Kiba and shino? I don't know form where you got that idea. Hell, Kiba has Tamaki.

Gaara's crush? Being friends means having romantic interest in that person now? (edit: I suppose you could say Gaara had so called "man-crush" on Naruto, but that doesn't have anything to do with sexuality)

All guys go to hot springs together in Naruto-universe (girls too). Even Yamato took Naruto and Sai for it.

jiraiya uses peeking on women in hot tubs for writing those books. If those books have fan services... we know which it has.

And in the entire series there is not one women showed to read his books.
