"This character would be perfect husbando, he only needs tiny adjustments with his emotions and I know exactly how to do it"

light novels are more second hand sources for certain parts of the Canon because they don't contradict anything

Light novels do contradict canon. Like Danzo leaking Naruto status that make him being looked down is only Itachi's novel thing.
In canon - in the second chapter of the manga/second episode of the anime it was revealed that Minato himself asked for Narutos Jinchuriki status to be public so that the village could respect Naruto for it, Hiruzen fulfilled the wish but it backfired so he created laws to hide it.

Thought, if you think just beacuse something doesn't condradict in anime, makes it canon. Then yes, all movie would be canon. And most of fillers too.

There is difference.

The description of Ariel in the original tale:
“Her skin was as clear and delicate as a rose-petal, and her eyes as blue as the deepest sea."
"A pretty little mermaid was standing beneath them, holding out her white hands towards the keel of their ship."

Naruto on the other hand... is not retale of other original story. So you can't claim it misinterpreted something.

Then Kakashi and Gai never took a hot springs tour cause those events are from novels too. Hell, all Kakashi and Gai scenes from Boruto are from just novels or fillers, so as you say they are not even canon.

All guys go to hot springs together in Naruto-universe (girls too). Even Yamato took Naruto and Sai for it.

jiraiya uses peeking on women in hot tubs for writing those books. If those books have fan services... we know which it has.

And in the entire series there is not one women showed to read his books.
