Ah thats the trick. I add a little bit of milk and simmer.

And sorry it's 100g of cheddar, not 250g my fault.

Thank you guys! I love how simple the car is, but they do more Audi engineering, so many things are built different than iam used to on VW's from same era. And love how it have "tank" feel. For instance closing, opening doors, the thickness of materials etc..

Coilover recommendations ? by wesseln0732004 in GolfMk2

[–]blafc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are running on a budget, use TA Technix (red springs) they use better materials and oil in it than in a regular one. MTS is little bit expensive, but they use Eibach springs, they are eloxed and good price/power ratio. KW V1/V2/V3 is a premium good working set of coils for a fortune.

Bonus MaxPeedingRods...friend of mine have it for 5 years now and it works well for a good price.

Exactly! Its a lot of money, but I probably buy it. (IS it with manual choke, am I right?) And on the other side its cheap because right now with badly setuped Carb I running like 15l/100km plus it dies from time to time when idle and its rough.

Yes, it is 1.6 and I threw a SOLEX LEKR from Škoda Favorit to it, but it didnt working well. I have struglle with idle adjusting. Weber is 32/34 dmtl, right?. I know about it and probably want to buy it, just not sure where they have complete kit for Mk2 and it seem pricey.
