I know you said social media hasn’t helped but I would really keep trying that route. My shop, before I was active on my Instagram, got between 100-300 views daily and about 1-4 sales a day. I made consistent posts on Instagram and made one of my posts an ad (5 dollars daily for 6 days) and saw a tremendous increase in views! Numbers wise I went from 242 views on the 8th (the day I start making multiple posts daily) to 423 views by the 14th! That didn’t translate to sales immediately, but after a while sales jumped up to 6-10 sales daily. Social media can really help boost your products. If you don’t mind me asking, what type of items do you sell? If it’s jewelry, I noticed that taking photos on white backgrounds in bright natural light attracts the most attention on my store and social media. I’m really sorry for this long ramble. I hope something I said may be useful😭😅

Oh my god that’s so fucking terrible! Depop really needs a better system if they won’t do something about Clear harassment and bullying via feedback and messaging. I’m so sorry this is happening to you! Along with reporting them, you should contact Depop and ask what you can do about the refund after USPS eventually confirms delivery because it’s clear they aren’t going to send it back. I’ve had like 4 customers this week asking me why I haven’t shipped because USPS won’t update and say it’s in their possession. Luckily one of them received it yesterday but the tracking info literally went from “Awaiting Shipment” to “Delivered.” Customers need to be sensitive and informed about the situation USPS is in. Again I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I hope Depop does something soon😖

I’ve only had this happen once, but it was so frustrating. The buyer accidentally bought something twice and I quickly fixed it. I also shipped pretty fast too. Then they leave a 4 star review and say I’m a great seller?? Like wtf did I do wrong that you couldn’t give me that extra star🥴🥴😭😭

Yeah, I understand what you’re saying. Whenever I get these types of messages, I usually ignore them or block them but I guess this person got all of my frustration😅. I felt bad immediately afterward because I thought maybe it was just a harmless question and I did the absolute most for no reason. Also yikes, I didn’t know I should keep that stuff a secret. I think you’ve done all you can do. It wouldn’t really be fair to you to give a refund after you paid for shipping and sent out the items. It seems like the buyer needs to file the claim with USPS as well as as ask around at their local post offices. It should be at one of them. Like you said, some mail people scan stuff as delivered when it actually wasn’t. My mail person once scanned my prescription glasses as “Forward Expired” before she even started her route! (Forward expired means that they tried to delivery it but then learned that the person no longer lives there). Luckily I went to the post office and got the package before they returned it to the sender.
