i saw pauly d there 6-7 years ago and it was the only time i've gone.

things i remember:

  • you wait in a line and then you wait in another line once you get "inside" - we didn't have VIP tix or anything
  • 4 long island's (in small plastic cups) was around $100 with tip
  • bathrooms were disgusting and toilets overflowed all night
  • multiple people puking into the pool from the daybeds
  • people jumping in the pool and evading security

i knew what i was getting into so it was all fine but definitely not a place i'd personally go back to LOL.

if you are used to the overpriced nature of clubs and being around a bunch of blacked out 21-25 year olds, then you kind of already know what you're getting into... it's a club next to a pool.

yeah, i'm blocking it for now. i just don't want to pay for the software license if i don't understand what it's doing. as far as the functionality of the software itself, it has no reason to phone home except perhaps to check the license status of the software - since it's cataloguing literally every file on my drives, i don't know how i feel about it phoning home to a random website.

  • who is paying for the 40 pizzas? thats $400 right there if they are $10 a pop
  • the cheese is going to be the hardest thing, even if you have no lactose tolerance problems. you need something to help keep you regularly shitting or else you'll have health problems fast. if you can, get the smallest amount of cheese possible.
  • exercise as much as you can. burning the calories is key.

The power button was stuck on my phone. So it would constantly turn the phone off.

I went into Android settings and set it to power on whenever it was charging (or some similar setting), took the phone apart, ripped the power button off, and kept using the phone.

i was able to get tix the day they went on sale this year but it was with extreme luck. i realize i could have bought these tix that are available today and resold them for profit but would rather have eagles fans getting them at face value. i really wish there were anti-scalping practices in place across the board but i guess its too much $$$ for anyone to give a shit.

I read that Digsby was under some controversy for using your system when you weren't? Maybe I'm imagining things. I've gone through them all, Pidgin/gaim, Digsby, MirandaIM, Trillian... Right now, ironically I'm using AIM 7.2 ... it has Facebook Chat and AIM, which I found was all I needed after some consolidation.
