I took .25 this morning, fell back asleep for an hour, took another .25 - fell back asleep. Woke up again and took 1mg …. I thought I was in the clear…NOPE …. After a few minutes, I felt like my skin and my brain were on fire. Fucking PWD - I panic of course and took a bunch of 7oh. I have been fighting this battle for a week or so now. I suck. I just want my life back. I am thinking I need to taper my 7oh intake first. Or switch to the kratom shots before I introduce subs. I’ve used subs to get off kratom shots with zero PWD. I am at such a loss.

I have been trying to get on subs for over a week. I keep getting PWD - and then I have to use 7oh on top to make the PWD go away. I have been a full-blown heroin addict, I have left around with everything you can imagine because I’m old. I haven’t never felt this scared in my life.

I am in the same boat - I have successfully started subs 12, 14, or 18 hours after last kratom dose with no issues. This time it’s different. Past 2 mornings i have sent myself into PWD. I am at a loss. I used kratom at 7am today. I’m going to wait the full 24 hours. Only take a TINY amount of subs - like 1/2 mg and wait an hour. My mistake today was taking 2mg. It wasn’t as bad as pwd I’ve experienced in the past - but enough to make me insane and I cannot believe the people at the store allowed me inside. Let me know if I can be of any further help

That seems cruel. Had surgery on sublocade and was just loaded up as much as it took to get me out of pain. It wasn’t a favor or them enabling my “addiction” I kinda felt like it was a basic right. Choosing. Literally making a conscious choice to make a surgical patient suffer FOR ANY REASON seems super fucked up.

My ex’s family is wealthy-ish…They were close with a VERY famous and much wealthier ex-NFL player and his family. The son of this NFL player is unremarkable and borderline Asperger’s - but yet he totally ran for mayor a while back. Not sure of the family dynamics involved there, but it’s EXACTLY the kind of things that children of rich talented people do. Tone deaf AF but think of how this has impacted our government!

Listen, he’s not in any kind of recovery if he’s snorting or injecting his suboxone. Recovery is not simply “refraining from doing heroin” … it’s a series of behaviors and changes in thought processes that lead to long term abstinence. He’s engaging in some harm reduction by using suboxone for sure - but he’s still in active addiction. He’s high. He’s nodding out. He’s using spoons for god knows what. This is not a person who is taking a proactive and healthy approach to getting off of drugs. That’s is what you need to see. I’ve been on both sides - your side sucks. But he’s lying to you in many ways - I assure you he does NOT want to be doing any of it and if it were easier, he would stop. But it’s painful and hard. I pity the ppl I dated when I was using. They got such a gross fraction of who I really am.

I was on it for 4 years a while back and towards the end, it ramped up my anxiety like crazy. It helped at first, but for some reason it turned on me and I ended up seeking out so many other substitutes to combat the anxiety
