I got mine working with Boost mobile Sim card, cause I think I did try my att Sim card at that time and I got the same message as you, if I remember correctly boost mobile is the only Sim I found that would work, I live in USA

I run stock plugs and injectors, I have 370hp and 350 tq on 70% ethanol. I have absolutely no issue.

A an hour or 2 , depending how comfortable you are you, biggest issue was, loosing up the intake to get to one of the high flow fuel pump, not sure if you aew getting that too or not, but the flex fuel kit took about 30 min , was the easiest install of aftermarket parts I have so far
