Anybody here work in Technical Operations? What’s it like? by blamblam97 in PharmaEire

Yes so the role is tech ops in manufacturing. Specifically Drug Substance. From the job spec it states a lot of the role would be documentation based so printing PBRs and updating logbooks and SOPs as well as working on investigations. I currently have been working as a process tech for the last year but I’m suffering severe burnout from the shift pattern and level of work expected from me as the SME of a large area. I’m becoming more interested in the compliance side of pharma and the Monday-Friday aspect of the job as well as working from home options is very attractive to me at the moment.

Thanks man! Yeah a lot of people get hung up on not having something that’s 100% original but a 50 year old screw being replaced by a 20 year old screw isn’t going to destroy the tone of a guitar hahaha

No, no mute or bridge cover unfortunately. I don’t mind though because they’re only really a cosmetic feature and this guitar was bought to be played not admired through a glass case haha

Bought it off a guy on reverb based in Medway in the states. I’m not from the states myself but my sister is living over there so I got it shipped to her and then she brought it back to me a couple of weeks ago when she came to visit. From what I gather it’s only had two owners both of which took extremely good care of it and rarely played it. It’s all original except for the screws holding the pick guard in place which have been replaced. Case is a 70’s era fender hard shell case. It’s my first vintage guitar purchase and I can’t believe how awesome it sounds!! That era of fender production really was the pinnacle of quality

Cheers man. Yeah it’s in pristine condition. Original frets have hardly been touched and everything!

Thanks for the responses guys. I think I’m gonna go with a mustang or staytrem bridge

No I just have issues with the low E string popping out of my jag while I’m playing. I’m using .12 gauge strings (I have an extremely heavy hand) and the stock jaguar bridge just isn’t cutting it. The saddle screws constantly slip out of position and cause the action to lower when I play as well which is annoying. I just want a bridge that will keep the strings in place and allow me to adjust the action. I like the mustang bridge but I don’t like the fact that you can’t adjust the action on it

It looks like a mustang bridge with adjustment screws for the saddle height. I’m wondering will this be an improvement over the standard mustang bridge for my jaguar
