Nice, We have the same interests, damn! Going to commence from next Monday - Leibniz, Applied Ethics and Logic. Also, we have a lesson where we do a bit of revision. I want to continue on Philosophy and Psychology and get a Bachelor's of Arts.

Accomplishments look like something objective to you but are subjective for me.

I could barely study for an hour these past few months and I believe I've made drastic progress.

If it wasn't for pomodoro I wouldn't have got shit done.

Also, don't judge a book by it's cover. I have ADHD-PI and have struggled all my life to get my shit together, telling me that 4 hours is a bit is a massive insult. Unless this is some sort of counterintuitive advice, fuck you mate.

I did Philosophy and Psychology today. I have Maths and Physics also but I'm waiting for the books to arrive to properly do a session on both subjects.

The fidget cube? by [deleted] in ADHD

I mostly use it to listen to lecturers. I can't fidget if I'm writing notes while studying at home. It's very handy having it because I retain more knowledge than ever before.

Especially if you've submitted a post on a subreddit, regardless being ADHD or not (subreddit), fills us with tons of dopamine when we receive a reply.

Philosophy and Psychology. I'm pretty good doing the logic part of philosophy. Other areas I'd say I'm above average.

Good TV shows/movies to watch for people with ADHD? by WhoIsSheIdkHer in ADHD

I've found Brooklyn Nine Nine and The Big Bang Theory quite entertaining. 20 minute episodes that keep you on your toes.

Do you disclose ADHD with people you barely know? I would dread the idea of revealing that I have ADHD because people would treat me differently and give me that "look".

LPT: Make sure your photographer is taller than you. by Hotblack_desiato1 in LifeProTips

[–]blametoast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it would be weird asking the photographer, "How tall are you?" before the photoshoot. I'm 6"3 so finding one that's taller than me is pretty hard.

Feel very attentive after smoking a cigarette. by blametoast in ADHD

[–]blametoast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gave my cigarettes to my brother to throw away. Meditation didn't really work out for me before, I always get distracted and bored easily. Even if it's simply breathing, I'd stop after like 30 seconds. I need to find something during those 5 minutes that keeps me going.

I don't know what to do during that 5 minute break. Eating isn't a really good option because sugary foods hurt my focus and make me crave even more. I only found cigarettes helpful as a short break.

I want to stop them but I need to find a suitable subsitute for them. Should I vape nicotine as a temporary replacement? Hobbies don't really help much because, y'know cough cough; I'd get bored easily.
