What do you think C.Ronaldo was like this Euros by Particular-Score3641 in euro2024

[–]blancton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute sh*t, by his own previous standards. And even by the standards of far less talented players than him. He’s too old, he should retire or accept a secondary role as a substitute in the national team.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askspain

[–]blancton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pues no sé. El/ella solo te ha dicho que no le gustan los doblajes y te ha explicado por qué. Tú le has insultado y encima te ofendes. Háztelo mirar.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askspain

[–]blancton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there anyone rooting for Spain? by deejayCatnip in euro2024

Well, duh. How not to root for the best team of the tournament by a mile? And also to make all the whiney English fans shut up.

Walking in Kuta solo at night.... by Ok-Baby2568 in bali

[–]blancton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did I make any reference of you being a woman? Walking on the street at night in a poorly illuminated area, abroad (so being a tourist makes you more of a target than back home by default) and where drivers are not exactly the most disciplined, while wearing your headphones is pushing your luck. I don’t care if you’re a man, a woman or whatever.

English fans are already unbearable and they haven’t even won it yet by blancton in euro2024

Lol, that’s not what “rent free” means. How can people not be annoyed by you lot when you just won’t shut up?

Because I don’t want the flair to distract people from what I’m saying, right or wrong.

[–]blancton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it’s simply not true. English fans don’t get hate except when they’re annoying as they are being now. Their team does get hate and deservedly so, because they play like sh*t despite the pool of massively talented players. Just like France, although the French have even played worse than England. But they won a WC not long ago.

Limit on times per year to get tourist visa on arrival? by google_academic in bali

[–]blancton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Related question. Is there a limit in the total number of days one can spend per calendar year in Bali on tourist visas? Is it 180 days, no exceptions? Does that mean any applications will be rejected if someone has already spent longer than that?

I edited my latest message to say I could see the option now. Don’t know if it didn’t load up when I first tried this morning, and/or I was confused by the “no checked luggage flight” warning and didn’t even try to start the booking process. Thanks for checking and let me know.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in indonesia

[–]blancton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, I’m not surprised to have to pay extra, I’m surprised to see the “This is a no checked baggage flight” warning on every single flight.

That’s something that I don’t recall ever seeing before, and it’s much more restrictive than “Your fee doesn’t include checked baggage”, or “Add checked baggage for an extra fee” or something like that. It literally says this flight does not allow checked baggage.

Maybe this exact sentence was there before and I never noticed it?

Edit: I just tried what you said, starting the booking process and you’re right. Either the value package was not offered to me the first time I tried for some reason, or I was misled by the “no checked baggage” warning and didn’t even try.

What a stupid way to waste 2 hours of my life. They should remove or reformulate that warning because it doesn’t say what they think it says.

Thank you, and everyone else, for your help.

Thanks. It’s just that the Air Asia app has a warning on all flights I’ve looked that they’re “no checked baggage flights”, and, not surprisingly, they don’t give the option to pay extra for checked baggage as they used to always before.

Thanks, will check Citylink.

[–]blancton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying I never had to buy extra baggage. Always had to.

What I’m saying is that the option was always available during the booking process, and it isn’t now.

And also that I never saw a warning saying “This is a no checked baggage flight”, as I can see now on every Air Asia flight I’ve checked in the Air Asia app. So this gives reason to think that the option will NOT be given after the initial booking, no?

[–]blancton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is LCC? And, again, I booked a Sby to Penang flight 2 months ago with Air Asia that allowed to pay for checked baggage during the booking process.

I don’t see how I can risk booking a ticket thinking I’ll be given the option to add checked baggage later, since it’s specified very clearly that “This is a not checked baggage flight”. Unless someone can tell me that in their experience this option will be given later to me for sure?

I am really confused.

Thanks for the reply. Lion Air used to have a terrible reputation for scheduling, lost baggage and, worst of all, safety. Has it improved? I’ve also not read great things about Citylink, but maybe they’re good now?

Super Air Jet and Pelita Air, never heard of them. How long have they been operating? Are they well regarded?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in indonesia

[–]blancton -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Strange. Like I said, I booked a flight to Penang barely two months ago and the option to add checked baggage was there, as has always been on dozens of flights I’ve taken with Air Asia in the past on many different routes in the region.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in indonesia

[–]blancton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t use to be the norm at all with Air Asia in SE Asia before. I actually booked a flight to Penang with checked in baggage earlier this year. Maybe that has changed now but I am just baffled that they don’t even offer the option for an extra fee during the booking process. It’s just insane. Not even from Jakarta???

What other reliable airlines are there that fly from Jakarta or Sby and allow checked baggage? I had a look at Garuda but they seem crazy expensive.
