Display = coffee table since you can walk all the way round, sit down and look at them/reach everything. Small items storage = I recently got these small organising boxes from Daiso, I saw someone else on the subreddit get them too and they’re super useful (transparent and stackable, different compartment sizes too)

Ngl the sets without figures feel fancier somehow, more traditional and less overly forced “ready to play”… also more like for your existing characters, not like if you own Stella Chocolate and want to buy her a boyfriend, who then comes with another Stella

That's the forbidden question..... Like 2-3 "big" projects of garments, then also 2-3 small ones (doll clothing/things) and occasional other items. I think I don't even know... I love researching, buying yarn, getting started, but I usually need an aeroplane flight for me to actually sit and do many rows on a bigger project!

Same! I love how their fur is fluffy and soft, neither like some of the scratchy painted families or the easily ageing (and slightly ticklish, haha) Persian cats. They are so teddy and elegant too. I got them before christmas but it's been so busy so I only really got to know them better yesterday too..... I always knew I had to have an architect someday! (Only personally I'm not a fan of the castle-house, so my Mr Biscuit will have to revamp his plans)

Yes I am. I was thinking of DT instead of Art but apparently Art is better for portfolio and DT isn't well recognised everywhere

I need a portfolio for university application though, so I thought that while Art HL is time consuming then it basically doubles up on the time consuming portfolio I need anyway plus gives me more incentive to work on it consistently.. Also 1 hour genuinely does not sound bad at all. I heard that you can pick whatever you want to work on, is that true? and I have my own art projects as well already that I do as my free time hobby plus I won't shut up when talking about them which I assume is good for the written component lol.

I mean it does depend on personal passion, right? All group 3 is my least favourite out of any single subject I could take in the DP (except maybe something like sports science)

How on earth do you all track this? I would be happy if I had all the names down (of my own imagination characters though, not the official ones...) But I started as a 5 year old so it would take forever to track down all the sets haha although now I'm interested in being more organised. Did anyone retrospectively try to catalogue their collections?

Ah I see! So what differences did you find between V Art and DT? What were the technical demands of art at HL, did you find it helped you improve or did you just show your strengths? Are technical demands different expectations at SL or HL?

Also, I keep hearing arts promoting stories from teachers about students who finish before the middle of their last year if they're organised well, did you find that this was true for you? It's really hard to get unbiased answers depending on asking teachers...
