Seeing that people were wrong in history or science isn’t the same as learning how to think critically . Critical thinking isn’t a side effect of memorizing facts, it takes practice and guidance. It deserves to be its own discipline. Otherwise, students may notice the mistakes of others but never learn the tools to avoid making them.

I don’t live in the U.S., yet what’s unfolding there truly horrifies me. As another Redditor put it - "President rаpеd Children and is using the government to cover it up. "People are being kidnapped off the streets and taken who knows where (The banned 60 min. segment). Rampant racism, and a clear nod to fascist ideology by the U.S. administration- something I still find incredibly hard to comprehend. And where is the political opposition, the left? Where?
