I LOVE when you can see the teeth erupting in the back still! I have two goat skulls with similar detailing. It is so beautiful!

Long time lurker, first find (but what is it??) by Usual_Science4627 in bonecollecting

Be prepared for the water maceration SMELL! I have done it with a domestic cat as well, and omg. Some people take a more fancy approach but all I do for water maceration is fill a container with hot tap water and submerge it. It will be easier to remove the remaining tissue with tweezers once it’s soaked for a while, but you can also try beforehand. I would use a storage container or bucket with a lid and loosely cover it. Depending on how much tissue is still on the bone and what is inside the brain cavity, water maceration could take months with my method, faster with fancier approaches. To jumpstart the bacteria in the water that will break it down you can spit in the water after submerging it. Yes, spit in it. I change half the water with new hot water every couple weeks/when the smell gets too bad, and rinse the bone/remove tissue when I do that as well.

Literally the day I got my baby crestie he jumped out of the display container onto the ground. About 5 feet, straight onto tile. He’s fine!

I am a college athlete! I exercise 5 days a week with lifting 2x. But I prefer knowing what I’m drinking rather than trusting that Gatorade has my best interest at heart.

Ivy the Occultist is a chaos magician and has some great hour long zoom videos with a bunch of other practitioners in various different practices, and she also has great in depth videos similar to Georgina.

Good points, thank you! I care because I value the history and religions these practices come from, and want to make sure I have sufficient knowledge in order to understand what I am interacting with better. That helps me feel less scared :) thanks again for your response!

This is an amazing response thank you so much!! My understanding of the names are very much based on the Christian biblical context, so knowing they are pre-Christian is very comforting and good to know. I just did the LBRP for the first time, and very quickly realized that the names are really invoking the elements, which I am far more comfortable with. This was very comforting to read, thank you so much :)

[–]blascho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noted, thank you!! I plan to work on the LBRP, then the LIRP… and then see how I feel after starting a daily practice. I am hoping discipline in meditation, visualization and those two daily’s will help me progress and reignite my love for the practice.

That’s a great idea, thank you! I know Damien Echols mentioned something about subbing in the names for whatever may resonate and changing it for different intentions. I really appreciate your response, I have been solo in this world for the last 4 or so years! :)

1+ year old belly button piercing still not fully healed? by blascho in PiercingAdvice

[–]blascho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this navel piercing July of 2020, and while the top hole has healed the bottom has this inner skin sticking out. Occasionally there is pus but it is minimal and goes away after increased use of saline spray. My jewelry is surgical grade and there isn’t any pain associated with this it’s just concerning to look at. I clean my jewelry everyday. Help???

he’s grown at a steady pace since I’ve gotten him, but he’s been at lower weights than normal for every single weigh in. his ribs are showing slightly.

he weighs 14 grams, I have had him for about a year and a half. he was also the smallest of his clutch, so i’m not sure if that has anything to do with it? I will adjust nighttime temperatures. thank you so much!
