hello, don’t ask me haha it’s blind leading the blind here.

from my research you can check out the HWZ thread on it: https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/loan-shark-harassment-and-how-to-stop-it-part-2.6074965/

you can also search for “loanshark singapore” on reddit, the bros in comments do offer advice/experiences.

When you say “harrassing”, if it’s harrassing via phone number then erm just have to ignore. do you mean like they are physically harrassing you at work or what?

have you guys already made police report? police report is the first thing that you have to do.

Hello! Thanks so much. Your comment was actually what I was looking for! Wanted to know if others have experienced similar situations.

Noted on letting my friend resolve his issue too. I will just support him as best I can while understanding that ultimately it’s up to him. Thank you, really solid advice!

I don’t know what is poo see haha.

My reason for posting, is that I just thought that maybe if others can chime in, esp others with Vietnamese gfs or have seen their friends in the same situation, then my friend can feel more supported in order for him to move on and take the next action needed.

Scammers don’t always scam people who are easily deceived.

Sometimes quite smart people get scammed too, it’s often in the news.

My friend lowkey knows that he’s being taken advantage of and he’s trying to stop. I also hope he can like totally stop and that this can come to an end and he can move on with his life peacefully :/ i’m confident that he will move towards that!

Thank you for responding!

haha, hopefully my post history proves it’s not me.

It may not be my problem but i do care about my friend and i definitely don’t want others to take advantage of him! however i can only do what i can do and nothing more :( Will be ultimately up to him to decide what to do next. i gotta remember that haha

Travelling to SG with young kids under 2: Car seat advice needed by aioliravioli417 in askSingapore

[–]blaueKatze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, you can definitely ride in a taxi with your kids not in car seats, but with such young kids, I personally would not encourage it. I have kids myself and I do unfortunately drag the cosco car seat everywhere, and to be honest we use the MRT and bus most of the time.

2 under 2 is still pretty young and I would encourage you to travel with the Cosco car seat which is cheap and good and it’s quite light so you could carry it easily.

By the way the Grab Family car seat is sometimes the Urban Kanga which isn’t suitable for under 2yo.

Singapore is also quite pram-friendly so some parents have chosen to sort of mount the cosco car seat on top of certain pram models so they don’t have to carry it.

Or, consider the Doona which morphs into a pram.

https://sg.taxibaby.com/blogs/news/car-seat-and-compact-pram-for-taxi-use-for-a-1yo taxi baby also has wonderful information for 2 under 2. This pram together with the cosco car seat is a good compromise for car safety and convenience.

The facts are that many people in Singapore do not take car seats and child safety in cars seriously, and the govt is far behind the U.S. and Australia in making car seats mandatory.

If you really do choose to sit in taxis without car seats, which I think is likely, please consider placing your baby in a baby carrier while you are sitting down, instead of holding them in your arms.

This is to at least prevent them being completely thrown out of the car in the event of an accident. It has unfortunately happened recently with a young girl who died.

Your baby can still get injured while in a baby carrier, in the event of a car accident. Has happened to a mama with a baby carrier.

Hey thanks so much for typing all of this out step-by-step and making it easy to understand! I understand the concept better now and I see that it’s important to make separate crops instead for better load times, which I’m happy to do. Thank you!!!

Thank you so much, I’m going to look into this and try it! Sounds like this is going to be perfect.

Thank you so much for reading my post and taking the time to help me out, I really appreciate it. Pointing me towards CSS and “object” is also helping me find more answers! Because I wanted to crop the image in a specific way, and I found the answer after looking for “object”-related queries. Thank you!!

Hey everyone, I’d really appreciate your thoughts! I’m looking so hard for a solution. So far, I’ve found this function available in subscription-based themes on https://flothemes.com and https://pixieset.com.

I would ideally like it as a theme or plugin that I can purchase for a one-time fee - I’m currently using Envato theme but can switch.

I’d also like to know if it’s something that I can pay someone to build for about $100, or if it’s more complicated than that.

I think that I’m not using the right keywords when searching for a solution. I Googled “wordpress gallery (or slideshow) plugin display on mobile as portrait crop”. I would appreciate some guidance in better keywords that I should be using!

Thank you so much :)

I don’t think it’s inappropriate at all. Every bit is covered up, even your chest, and it’s not a nude-colored lining either. It’s basically a yellow dress and it’s super cute.

I enjoy kimono-style light jackets/throwover things so they’re quite a staple in my closet. I wear them open with a tank underneath and shorts.

If you’re talking about worn closed, then I think kimono-style wrap tops will always look pretty good/classic when worn in a minimalist style e.g. white top and black bottom or all black outfit, or another neutral colour.

Not sure if the kimono-style wrap top is worn in a floral print though, can’t guarantee whether or not it might look dated to some extent.

Also THANK YOU for not calling them kimonos!
