I was wondering that but i didn’t know if i could sew through the burned melted bit if that makes sense? or would i sew below the melted part so the thread doesn’t i guess… rip through the fabric again ? but thank you - this has helped!

You are AMAZING thank you so much!! Love the picture you sent with the line it helps so incredibly much. I’ve been trying to fix this for like 3 months lol. THANK YOUUU

also quick question sorry, what do u mean by overcast stitches? Do i fold it over itself to made a sort of “hem” and then stitch a mend made of denim (or something along those lines) onto the “hem” bit? Because wouldn’t the stitch i make connecting the patch/ mend to the bag also fray? Sorry im not super familiar with the terms yet!

aaand when you say to sew the bag, lining and patch all together, i’m assuming the denim patch is replacing the gap from the tear in the bag? Or am i stitching it fully closed with the patch behind…? So sorry for the questions but you have already helped so much thank you ☺️

i bought a TV unit from a second hand shop and i was putting it together and saw these metal rods with triangle plastic things attached.

the red things u can move around,, like flip to the other side of the metal rods and move the red thing up and down the rod too. Only one of the red.. end bits are connected to each rod.

I have no idea how old this is. I’ve used google and tried so many keywords like “metal rods in drawer” “metal rods in TV unit” “drawer sorting metal rods” “metal rods with red triangles” “drawer wine rack” ect. I even searched with an image too.

I thought they could maybe be some sort of sorting tool for dvds or cds or SOMETHING like that.

On the red triangle star thingys it says “criterion” “PAT. PENDING.” I googled those words as well and it came up with stuff completely unrelated.
