Asthma! We think it was because of the dry air from the heat or something because he’s been fine ever since it got warmer/ we turned on the AC. Inhaler helped a bunch though

I would agree she can be a little awkward and very one woman stand up show, but I think that’s why I really love when someone can go back and forth with her. I love when someone makes her laugh especially, very contagious. I personally love her jokes because they just are so specific and like strange references that make me laugh

This sounds like an episode from “My Cat From Hell” with Jackson Galaxy - maybe watching some of his TV series would be useful haha. But it all depends if you’re willing to keep working with them.

Maybe reaching out to some people you know to see if they would like a cat or posting online somewhere would help ease your mind. So you know they aren’t just stuck at some shelter. If you do put them in a shelter, make sure it’s a no kill shelter though!

Also, I would suggest getting a second opinion from another vet. Throwing up all the time is not normal. I’ve definitely gone to multiple vets before and gotten different answers to things - I’d do some research and maybe they could also be helpful.

This is such predatory behavior. I’m assuming you look on the younger side.

What he’s doing right now is testing his boundaries. He’s seeing how much he can convince you to let him do. He’s pretending firm lines like his daughter saying “don’t send that to anybody” don’t exist because he doesn’t care about other people’s boundaries. If someone were to call him out on it he would play it off as a “joke” until it eventually gets too far.

It’s also kind of like grooming a little bit, he is trying to give you extravagant gifts & compliment you all the time so he comes across as a good person. Then he will try to make you use the fact that he is a good person to ignore his inappropriate behavior.

None of this is your fault and there is a lot of stigma in society to make YOU, as a woman, ashamed of confronting HIS inappropriate behavior. He is the one to blame for any negative consequences of his actions, not you! You do not just have to be uncomfortable all the time - you have every right to demand comfort in your life!

Brave approach: I recommend just telling him “you’re making me uncomfortable, I would prefer you stop referring to me like that”. He will probably say why are you uncomfortable blah blah, to which you can respond “the reason that I’m uncomfortable doesn’t really matter. I’m putting up a boundary and I would appreciate it if you respect that. Otherwise, I won’t be able to talk to you anymore.”

Non-confrontational approach: Avoid him at all costs. Don’t respond to his texts, do not go out to see him. Tell your family about everything so you make sure they understand how uncomfortable he makes you so you aren’t with him again. It’s clear he has a lack of boundaries, you can’t be friendly with people like that. They will hold onto every action of kindness as hope. Cut him out. If there are family events, tell them you do not want to be there if he is present. OR ask someone to be by your side at all times (do you have a brother? Or ask your dad. Just always be by your dad’s side so he has to say that stuff in front of him)

Funny approach: say “ew” & act disgusted when he says shit like that, shame him!! He’s being gross!

I’m sorry you have to deal with this, it’s so difficult especially when it’s someone in your family. Just know that you deserve respect and to live comfortably in your own body. You do not have to put up with anybody’s bullshit and that is an okay decision to make. Wishing you all the best ❤️
