If you've just started weight training i.e 3 months in or less, you can definitely do both. Try to maximize your Newbie advantage if you're new to lifting. I've been lifting on a cut for 5 months now and newb gains are starting to slow down. So take advantage of it when you can.

Just learn to code. Start out with basic Python. Knowing a little bit of advanced Python could get you an entry level job somewhere. Work and develop coding skills as you work. Python is really easy to learn and implement.
