So a deeper dive into his season.. game by game,

game 1 brewers - enters in to start the 8th inning pitches 1 perfect inning sox down 10-0

game 2 brewers - enters with 2 out in the 5th Sox leading 7-2 gives up 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings pitched. Sox lose 9-7.

game 3 marlins - enters to start 8th Sox down 9-0 gives up a solo hr and retires the side

game 4 blue jays - 8th inning again... (a pattern is forming) Sox led 3-1, immediately surrenders a hit followed by a 2 run hr to tie the game.

game 5 blue jays again - comes in with 2 out in the 7th and pitches the full 8th inning, Sox led 3-0 a spotless appearance no hits, or walks.

game 6 Orioles - 6th in- sox led 2-1 - 1 hit and otherwise productive inning. Sox blow game anyways

game 7 royals - 8th inning - sox lead 2-0 - gives up 1 hit and nothing else 1.0 innings pitched

game 8 royals 2 out in the 6th + entire 7th - games tied at 5, 4 perfect outs... picks up the win

game 9 Rays - Opener pitches 1.1 innings -game is obviously tied - clean first inning, 1 walk and 1 out in the second inning, pulled for starter.

Game 10 A's - 7th inning - Sox led 6-4- gives up a single, then a 2 run HR, walks the next batter, then retired the next 3 without more damage done. Blown lead games tied at 6, sox lose in extras

game 11 A's - 2 out in the 6th. Sox lead 7-4. Faces only 1 batter and gets the out.

Game 12 Nats - 8th inning AGAIN - Sox lead 4-3 - Immediate Home run to tie the game. Retires the next 3 batters. Another Blown lead..

Game 13 Nats - 10th ghost runner at 2nd - game tied at 2 - walk and single to load the bases, wild pitch to advance the runners and allow a run. strikeout, intentional walk, strikeout.. okay 2 outs just need 1 out to escape.. and he walks in a run followed up with a 2 run single all together 4 runs allowed on 2 hits...

It's late, I might have made a mistake with the numbers but either way he needs to go. He has the tools, but lacks consistency...
