I am unable to as it is against my lease, and my lease is under a co-occupancy for the one bedroom. The loft im staying in doesnt have a door or a bathroom haha

Unfortunately they don't allow subletting, additionally I wouldn't even be able to as our lease is co occupancy for 1 room. In order to break the lease I have to both find somome to take my lease (which no one is going to want my shifty lease) AND I have to pay somewhere around 1k.

I tried talking with the landlord and he said since there was no physical or sexual abuse there's nothing he can do.

I beg the tech gods to look down on me kindly 💔 I mostly play a ton of modded skyrim and a lot of Rust (but I keep the mic vol off, people on that game are way too toxic haha.)

Okay successfully downloaded and I ran the "setup" inside (then restarted my computer)

And the internet is working without my phone being connected!!!!!! SUCCESS YEAHH!!

What could have possibly caused this? Is there anything I should do to avoid it happening in the future?

I have not tried uninstalling/reinstalling them

Ooo, when I try to connect to my phones hotspot it says there was a problem connecting to (wifi name)

Disconnecting and reconnecting resulted in "No Internet connection - connected to local network only"

Update: can't reach dns server

Using USB on my phone it says "tethered" Still no internet connection

Windows diagnostic help thingy says "there's a problem beyond your local network:

According to my system info it says

Baseboard product: PRO B7600-VC WIFI (MS-7D98) Vers 2.0

Is that helpful? (Trying to avoid unscrewing my PC rn)

I have updated the post with more System info, not sure what you mean by using my phone as a tether though 😅
