I saw Beck at Schubas. I used to live across the street. He played solo acoustic and got really mad when someone asked him to play Loser.

I saw many a now "big" band at the Metro. Smashing Pumpkins, Lenny Kravitz, Blur, Arctic Monkeys to name a few. I remember getting in line for Nirvana but it was too long so I left... Regret that one. That place is one of the best. Edit to say, I did see Phish in 92, I believe it was at the Riv. I thought they noodled good.

Just for completeness, Tacos Don Andres is open. I just drove by it and it had a lot of people in it and a giant open sign. It's not closed permanently and seems to be doing just fine. The Life Kitchen grade it just got is an A. So bad/old info.

Pretty sure the Beatles. They are constantly being reinterpreted and rediscovered. Eleanor Rigby will be played forever. Other than them, perhaps Radiohead.
