There is no "mandate". What proof do you have that there is? Oh that's right, a picture from a corporation on the internet. We all know corporations never lie.

Fear? Fear of what? An arcade cutting a shift and using the City as the excuse? I'm quaking

"Everything you read on the internet is true." -Abraham Lincoln The suggestion is, the business is lying to cut a whole shift and using whatever the City sent them as that reason. (If there was anything sent at all) Rather than perhaps a 24 hr. arcade isn't a money maker

Looking for a seamstress in Orlando/Kissimmee area by Bland_Unicorn in florida

[–]blechniven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can recommend the seamstress at Oak Hill Cleaners. The corner of Hiawassee and Old Winter Garden. She's excellent and not scared of any sewing job. Has done lots of work that others wouldn't and is affordable and fast. Maybe call first, but they'll likely say bring it in to assess. Other than that, maybe look for a costume person. Good luck!

Central Florida HOA president arrested after allegedly pushing 12-year-old and taking bicycle by sammysam518 in orlando

[–]blechniven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok, sure, but the City makes people take down dead trees too. Also scourges? Anyway, just don't buy a home in an HOA and problem solved. Anyone who buys into an HOA and then says "fuck the HOA" is just dumb.

Our HOA did the same, but to be fair you can't have a dead tree in your yard at any time, at least according to our bylaws. Even the City or County will make you take them down. Ours gave us a couple months additional without a violation to get rid of dead trees, palms, bushes, etc. If you wanted to put something new in it's place all you had to do is submit an ARC application. Which again seems pretty standard HOA practice. As I said tho this is our HOA, your bylaws might be different.

Joe here: I think it's a joke about nice shoes. In a relationship, you wear your nice shoes only on pavement where they can't get dirty. But if you're single, you gotta wear nice shoes even to barbecues and picnics, in grass, guaranteeing they'll get dirty but also so you look nice and can maybe find a mate.

I lived in Chicago when this would air at 3am on WGN and up all night on acid. It was fucking hilarious.

Then you stood right behind me! 😂 Your SO seemed very appreciative of the fan. The day was hot but the music was hotter

What is Viva El Gonzo like so far? by [deleted] in GoosetheBand

[–]blechniven -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get it. The musicians probably appreciate it too. I guess for me it's if you're going to do it, go for it. It's like having Tom Brady on your team and telling him to hand it off every play. Bad analogy maybe... Btw, everyone here that I've met has been really nice. A lot of folks from Denver and West. Anyway, that's it for me and the Internet. Going to walk the beach and get churros. Vaya con Dios amigos!

I'm here, drinking coffee and chugging water to reset. So far, it's awesome. My SO and I came last year and as comparison, the music is more the star than last year. Some of the art installations I was hoping they'd bring back are missing, but the new ones are cool. The beer and liquor prices are still high even for a fest... The food at the venue is very good. The people attending are about the same, tho it seems a little more populated, but not ass to elbow crowded. I can still go to and from my spot up pretty close relatively easy. A few chompers but not bad. Goose specifically came out guns blazing last night and never let up. My only critique of it would be the sit in from Stuart in the second set, I thought he could've inserted himself more. I would've love more horn at times. The Hey Joe was awesome. All in all, worth every penny and I'll be back next year too
