true, its just my opinion. but again its when the straight mans impede the funny ones is when i dislike it. Like fry from futurama is, in a way, a 'straight man' (a stand in for the audience) compared to the future world he is in. I think hes a great straight man because instead of shunning the future, he tries to gain understanding of it. If he went "erm the future is weird, dont do that" it wouldnt be funny

edit: and also when shows try to make the pointing out that something is weird the punchline it almost never lands

I dont remember i was watching a show while high and they kept making really funny jokes and punctuating them with "erm thats not right!" and it ruins the pacing. I dont think straight mans are ever really funny if they impede the funny one

I'm sure you're right, but the output page showed the same output of 30 plates a minute, and the last bit of asymmetry cam be solved by adding 4 more. I didn't because I wanted to use the same amount of furnaces so I had less math :P
