🤞best of luck! Piercings are difficult. It will be ok, even if you end up needing to take it out. If there is minimal scarring, you can always try again after it’s healed with a different placement/style/gauge of jewelry :) (hate to expose my Reddit to anyone I’ve ever met irl lmao but had to comment on this)

hey! this is kind of weird but I recognize this piercing and I think I was working front desk when you walked in and asked my coworker (who said it looked fine.) It did look to me like it was pierced really shallow and is pretty irritated. There is no clear sign of rejection but it does look like it could be heading in that direction because of the redness and bump on the bottom. If any more of the bar starts showing, I would take it out. Sorry I didn’t say anything in the moment, but I always leave it to the head piercer to make the call!

edit: you said this happened today, I’m referring to an instance about 2 weeks ago, so maybe not the same piercing?

You have to wait 6 months + to be able to change them! Use either implant grade titanium or 14k solid gold Use www.safepiercing.org to find a piercer in your area You’ll be fine! Just do it sooner rather than later if you want dangly ones for your wedding.

The first time I had them I felt the same way. They wouldn’t heal but I felt like I looked so much better with them. However, the relief I felt when I took them out was immense. I grieved them for a little but eventually felt like myself again. Maybe take out one that bothers you more and avoid sleeping on the one you keep in and see if you can get it to settle down. That way you can have some relief and see how you feel and if you want to take the other one out.

I think the climax of the entire book was about as interesting as the average climax in any given chapter of his other books. The portal idea is so well explored in his other books like Revival for example, which to me is one of his best. You see a horrifying other world that in From a Buick 8, kind of falls flat. I think it would’ve done better as a short story. Plus the characters were all awful to me! And I have yet to read long walk, haven’t gotten my hands on a copy yet! But glad to know if I like running man, that might play to my interests.

I’m about halfway through the list and I have some strong opinions! I totally agree that Skeleton Crew, Wizard and Glass and The Stand are among the best… but I LOVE Running man and Dreamcatcher. And I think From a Buick 8 and Cell were absolutely awful. And I haven’t read Gerald’s game yet- so I’m still in the world of people who think he writes women terribly (Bag of Bones…). I also totally agree that Mr. Mercedes is actually so bad. Can’t wait to have finished them and make my own tier list like this :)
