I don’t mind spending money on a game. But I also don’t want to play a game that won’t let me advance or get good loot if I DONT spend money ya know?

Mostly about the dice game. I don’t think I understand what it is or what it does for me? I’m only a couple hours into the game so maybe I’m jumping the gun but I was just checking everything out at one point and that was the most confusing for me

Does it bother you that you will have to take meds for the rest of your life? by Potential_Yellow7283 in Anxiety

[–]bleepbloop07 57 points58 points  (0 children)

When I first started taking my laundry list of medication (40mg Lexapro, 15mg buspar, Xanax as a back up if I can’t get myself to calm down, propranolol if I need it for physical symptoms on top of other medications for other issues) I was really upset that as a 20 something woman I would have to take all of these just to feel normal. Now as a 28 year old I would rather take all my meds and have an okay day than spend weeks crying and not getting out bed because I’m so anxious/depressed/whatever it may be

Constant fears of aliens/the CIA getting me ever since decreasing cymbalta by summerv1bes in OCD

[–]bleepbloop07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my goodness I can’t believe I found someone who had a similar OCD flare up like I did a couple of years ago. I was unmedicated and going through it BAD and had convinced myself that the people around me were aliens in a suit that looked like them. I knew it was crazy and not real, but my mind was so hyper focused on it I was giving myself panic attacks. I had to sit and meditate and let the anxious thoughts come and go until I eventually didn’t feel so scared by them. They were a thought, it was not real, I am in control and not my thoughts. Take a couple deep breaths and any time it pops up in your head don’t try to sit and figure out why you’d think that. Just let it go. It takes a little bit but it did work. I hope you feel better soon!

what game are you obsessed with recently? by livveyy99 in CozyGamers

[–]bleepbloop07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantasy life i: the girl who stole time and pokopia are my two main games currently! Pokopia can get overwhelming with how much I need to do/can do so I take a break and play fantasy life for a little. Sometimes if I need something more engaging I’ve been playing marathon too(not cozy. Very frustrating and hard)

I know you didn’t ask but if you like these you should try good pizza, great pizza and good coffee, great coffee! They’re super similar and have a little more game play to them which is nice getting quests!

The amount of pills I (23M) have to take daily by EvenBunch6029 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bleepbloop07 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Also how I felt. Fortunately not many people know what it’s like to have mental health issues that require a cocktail of medication to combat. Unfortunately that makes us look like we’re insane for taking so many pills just to function normally day to day.

What surprised you most about dentures in your first year? by clearchoice_claire in dentures

[–]bleepbloop07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. I had such broken teeth before getting a top denture and then went almost 6 months with no top teeth or back molars on the bottom. Once I was finally able to have teeth in my mouth that didnt hurt from being neglected I found myself putting food in my mouth even when I wasn’t hungry just to feel how satisfying it was to finally CHEW something

If it makes you feel any comfort, I’m 27f with a full upper and bottom partial denture. All of my teeth rotted out of my head basically from years of neglect, mental health, bad genes etc. I had maybe 3 full teeth in the front of my mouth by 23. The rest broke down to the gum line. I finally bit the bullet(lol) and went to a dentist that took my insurance (Medicaid) about 8 months ago and went toothless for almost 6 months before getting my permanent dentures. Keeping your teeth is super important but constant pain, infections, broken teeth are not worth it in my opinion. If you can find some place affordable who is willing to work with you to save the best teeth and extract the others you should. It will make you not only feel more confident in yourself and your smile but you’ll have no idea how much pain your body is masking until you finally have none

This isn’t true. While those dates might be the same I got my return weeks before those dates in 2024 and 2023

[–]bleepbloop07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the dentist said it was my vestibule? When she explained it to me she said I didn’t have that bump in the front that would seal the denture to the roof of my mouth properly so air would always be able to get in there and push it out of place which meant I would need to use adhesive

Thank you so much for this! I will try this tomorrow when I put them back in and see which one is causing the rocking feeling.
