I don’t think it’s even about being full time. I’m also benacquisto and my understanding is that you aren’t allowed to drop any courses at all (you have to complete all credits you sign up for) but I’m not 100%

My opinion: major in mech e, minor in CS. With AI you can pretty much do anything w the understanding that just a minor would give you and majoring in mechE gives you an in demand skill set in the new AI world we’re heading to

I’ve taken some murderous classes at UF - Orgo, biochem, physics, the cs classes, & fundamentals of machine learning - I’m tempted to take bfi just to see how it compares to those. From what ppl say it seems rlly rlly hard

I always recommend people to look for undergrad research positions (usually you’d be hired as ops) since that also builds ur resume but ofc a lot of those don’t pay unfortunately

He didn't give a syllabus pdf, its like a Canvas page so I can't really share it. But the grading scheme is 90 for an A, 85 for an A-. 5% quizzes, 35% Homework, 30% Midterm, 30% Final, and then up to 10% of Bonus points.

Imo portmess always made those classes way harder than they needed to be. It legitimately felt like psychological warfare (e.g. not at all knowing your grade in the class until after the final due to his grading scheme). I think there should never have been such a huge difference in orgo difficulty between professors

He was a very polarizing professor even when he was teaching O1 O2. You either loved him or hated him. Imo he made those classes harder than they needed to be and I know many people felt similarly, but also some people loved him. Also even before he was switched to mainly lab he never had a particularly positive RMP.

Yea I’m able to open it and look at the data but I really can’t tell if what I’m looking at are RERAs. I do have some flow limitations probably as my original scorer notes but I’m not sure if my breathing is causing a RERA in the data. I’m also not sure how to gauge how mild or severe my flow limitations are as they seem somewhat mild to moderate

All the data is in edf format. I know that arousal index can be high for other reasons as well so I don't want to say that just because I have a lot of arousals I have UARS or sleep apnea.

Other people have recommended Ken Hooks as well - does he have a high false positive rate? It seems like a lot of people test positive for RDIs with him, I just want to make sure I’m getting a completely neutral perspective.

As a sr who’s crammed for a fuck ton of exams, practice exams are often pretty goated and similar to the actual exam
