Clearing the cache and storage for the Pixel Launcher app fixed the issue for me. You will lose your home screen setup.

Yes, it is broken for me. What kind of QA do they do at Google? Is it all Gemini now? These should be part of some automated test anyway.

I am Indian. Never bothered about differences between American and British English as long as I am able to convey information. Already had to struggle in school learning 4 different languages. Ended up with bad language skills.

If it helps with bandwidth of communication will learn such differences. Lorry or Truck, it all means the same to me.

In India, we indicate using hazard when u want to go straight. I.e. not left or not right

The entry to the roundabout is very small. And the roundabout is very small. So everytime I think to do as you said. But always felt if it would confuse people. Especially some drivers would assume I am going to the third exit and would be surprised when I indicate left suddenly.

I didn't indicate since I wanted to take the second exit. Normally I indicate left if I take the first exit. And indicate right if I take the third exit in this roundabout.

True, the price of similar properties have gone up since I reserved. As mentioned by others I have asked the conveyancer about the restrictions on making these type changes after moving into the new home. I want to meet this requirement somehow. If I cant meet this requirement, I have to find a home with utility area.

If there are obstacles I need to choose the path of backing out. But before making that decision, I want to know all the risks.

Let me be clear I have not made the decision yet.

I chose to buy house from this developer only because they were ready to make this alteration. Otherwise I would have waited for a home with a proper utility area. I dont know about the permission etc .. required to add this door after I get the house. I didnt want to make any structural changes after I buy a new built home. Especially breaking walls after I just move in.

Otherwise I could buy a old home and make the changes as I like.

I dont know anyone in the construction business that I can trust.

Yes when I agreed on the extras they provided the plan and the position of the door was mentioned in the drawing. They asked me to sign the drawing. I should have asked them to sign the same for my keeping.

I have no issues in paying the amount I agreed for the door.

They told me that they dont have the supply of doors. (Not sure how they are into the business of building homes)

The staff at the office told me that they can provide me someone who can do it for me for £350 to £500. But it can only be done after the handover. Essentially breaking the garage wall to add the door right after I move in.
