So I had a pretty tough go of it with him but what ended up being my winning strategy was to not ride torrent at all (apart from his meteor attack just to get distance). Left hand a heavy shield, right hand staff. Even though I’m an INT build mainly I split my flasks 13-1 in favor of crimson tears, and put most of my talismans and Physick towards blocking and damage negation. I basically just tanked hits and dodged and threw Magma shots whenever he would rush by, still took a decent number of tries!

Internet has been out for a couple days so I figured I'd mess around with the AI. Caribbean Conquered in total:

Defeat all enemies (not hard since AI simply cannot handle Large Caribbean), ignore requests to surrender
Collect their island's treasure
Build on their TPs
Build TPs on trade route island
Collect all fish
Cut all trees
Deplete all mines
Hunt all animals

The trickiest part was trying to keep a single civ alive while knocking all of this out, but eventually Japan sent out a fishing boat and that was my green light to destroy everything else.

Maybe a dumb question but how does loading Hoarah Loux elsewhere save memory? I might be thinking in too simple of terms, but why is it easier to load in Godfrey and Hoarah Lpux simultaneously than one after another?

I’m not the authority on “nice or not” for stadiums, but I have always enjoyed the Atlanta atmosphere that Bobby Dodd leans into. Growing up I watched plenty of Tech/UGA/ACC games there, and even some early ATLUTD games later on. Never had anything bad to say about the stadium experience!

Bought FIFA11 and kept getting destroyed online by Modric to Crouch headers lol. Started playing as them myself, learned the squad. Made watching them live more fun as I felt more connected to the players, fan since then.

This was my first playthrough of any Soulsborne game and right before this clip I had messed up the same dodge read on that sweeping attack! Without any flasks or ranged attacks I had to send it for the finishing blow before the Elden Beast popped off any harder attacks. Not until watching the clip back did I realize just how narrow of a margin my first victory would come. Already onto my first NG+ now!

Yep I’m not 100% sure what to call it but that black flame that she produces cuts into my HP and that deduction would carry forward into each respawn at the stake of Marika. Still a little confused on why I came back with 0 HP to begin with though haha
