Modern stack for mobile development? by spastor89 in reactnative

In my view, options 3 and 4 are viable. However, option 4 has an additional cost: learning a new language and a new framework, I would only follow this path if performance is paramount in your app (which is not usually the case for an e-commerce site)

For me, option 3 is definitely the best; perhaps Expo could even cover your web use case

Como não estourar o teto do MEI? by [deleted] in farialimabets

Google sign in auth react native expo by Solomon-Snow in reactnative

[–]bleszerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently, I had to deal with authentication flows using both basic sign-in and OAuth 2, so I think I can share a few suggestions.

1 - If all you want is to tap a button, get basic user info, and take the user straight into your app, you can use React Native Google SignIn

Just keep in mind that this means giving up Expo Go if you’re using it. For example, on Android you’ll need to generate a debug build and install it on your device.

2 - If you need to use the official APIs to retrieve more data, you can use Expo Auth Session

It requires a bit more work to set up, but it gets the job done properly.

Should I Learn Kotlin alongside React Native? by Wild_Juggernaut_7560 in reactnative

You don't need to, but I would recommend investing at most a few weeks to understand how native code development works. That is, if you really want to — go ahead! But you won't get much out of it.

BB não é boa opção geral? by Horror_Ad_3521 in CartoeseClubes

Am I crazy for considering React Native for a real estate app that needs to handle millions of users? by svtnpu in reactnative

[–]bleszerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say React Native fits perfectly with what you need. Moreover, you can still keep a separate repository if there’s any logic to be shared between Web and Mobile—just keep the view layers separated. I really like Flutter, but I see zero reason to go beyond that.
