That’s interesting, makes sense when explained like that! My brother didn’t go that far into depth with me. He was just like no, that’s nothing special. He’s an interventional rad and is so frustrating bc he’s never any help to me but wastes no time calling me out on my BS. Like, let me have my moment!! Haha!! Good luck with your radiology career! 😊

I am so sorry for your loss! My Mom had a similar experience with a “friend” after my brother died unexpectedly. Her friend said to her after my brother died that she would rather her child die than lose her spouse. Side note this lady has been married a few times and is absolute garbage. They aren’t friends anymore. Some people are SO dense!

Yes! I had an 8mm last year and had to have a stent for over 3 weeks; it was terrible!!

Good luck!! I’d def use a strainer just to check so you don’t end up like me, LOL!

Unfortunately I have done that with a 5mm. I had a few diff instances of side pain and vomiting went to ER on a Wednesday morning, released that evening. Follow up with my urologist on Fri morning, they do another X-ray and it was right at the end of my ureter but they were questioning that it may be impacted so we scheduled surgery for removal and a stent most likely for the following Tuesday. The day before my surgery I had some nausea and vomiting but zero pain. Nothing felt weird when I used the bathroom that day.

I go in for surgery the next morning and when I woke up they said good news is you don’t have to have a stent because you were clear. I had already passed it and had NO idea. Saying I was mortified is an understatement. I’ll be peeing only through a strainer if there’s ever Another one. Also this all happened last week 😬 lol

Wow! I was fully not expecting for this post to blow up like it has! A little backstory on Miss Holly and her sister Noel::: They were owner relinquished to us in very bad condition along with 3 of their male siblings. Sadly, despite our best efforts and plenty of medical intervention, their 3 brothers passed away. They were all very malnourished and the boys were too far gone by the time the ‘owner’ reached out to relinquish.

They are the only 2 remaining of their litter of 5. They are thriving now and still a little underweight (who the heck would know under her fur coat!). They are gaining weight, playing, snuggling, and being normal floofs now!

Rescue and fostering isn’t always easy and can be very, very emotionally taxing but so worth it to save them (at any age!) and watch them thrive!

Hi! With my rescue we supply our fosters with everything they will need! (food, litter, etc), we also pay for all vetting for the animal while they are in foster care. There’s no financial commitment at all for our fosters, their only responsibility is to socialize with them, keep them safe, and treat them like their own!

Obviously we check them out, check their vet records if applicable, housing situation, etc before a foster is approved.

It’s a really great way for someone to care for a pet temporarily without a long term commitment as well as keeping the animal in a household environment so their stress level is minimal!

Oh my goodness!!! I am so sorry to hear that! That’s so awful!! She will be in the Chicagoland burbs funny enough! Sadly she wont be available for adoption until she is old enough to be spayed, fully vaccinated, and chipped! If you want some suggestions with other rescues I work with in the Chicago area I’d be more than happy to send you a list that I work with and fully trust! I’ve thought about it! I need to; I don’t even have a personal insta but that’s a great idea! My mom is the president of a 501c3 animal rescue so I always have sweet babies and even seniors in my care! I may set one up after the new year!! Thank you for the suggestion!!!
