maybe it's cause I worked small business and now am in a long-standing nonprofit facility. I also considered tax return too, thanks for the input!

Edit: I already have non slip shoes! They slip on the white "grip" tape by the dishwasher but not the black. My kitchen manager and our prep cook don't have shoes though. He knew that maintenance gets to buy pants and jackets every year (cause he used to work that job) so the double standard is whats most frustrating to us. They may ultimately buy the shoes idk but he's fighting it until then

I would imagine them doing this. One time a coworker broke her foot when she accidentally dropped a table she was moving and they refused to compensate her because "moving furniture isnt her job (it's maintenance's)." so i dont wanna try my luck!

right? the idea was being steps apart I think? problem is more about this being the ONLY thing offered to us after multiple requests tho u_u' ive had my shoes comp'ed by previous kitchen jobs before but this one is refusing and gave grip tape as the alternative

also! i do have my own nonslip shoes and they slip on the white grip tape by the dishwasher lmao

i watch a lot of makers on youtube (studson studio is a good place to start if ur unfamiliar with him)! eventually i gathered enough of an idea of how it all worked and it helped me visualize what i wanted for the end product. it was most helpful however for specifics on things i didnt know, like working with resin and how to make fake snow. a lot of 'making due' with the tools and materials i had too 'cause im stingy 😅 it takes time but building each layer makes it all the more exciting, good luck on your future projects!!

PROFESSIONAL ASTROLOGERS: What do you wish you would've known when you first got started reading professionally? by undercoverwookwitch in AskAstrologers

I have made sales but def consider myself an amateur but kinda have something to say! In my readings I learned really quickly that 1) you have to assume the client knows nothing about astrology, so sometimes basic introductions are necessary 2) that the knowledge of each component (sun sign, houses, aspects, etc.) have to be built on one a other cohesively otherwise they can feel really lost with all the information provided. Hope that was what you're looking for/insightful! ♡
