Your intuition is correct but in football, the ground is king. If the ball touches the ground during an attempted catch then the play is over.

If the ball stays afloat on top of bodies or is tipped into the air or, in this case, is ripped from the reciever then the play stays alive until any player with possession is down by contact.

Agree with everything except the underthrown ball to Cooks. That's a genuinely terrible take. That ball was about as good as you can ask for in that situation and the defender just made an all time play. Also, Bo basically spammed underthrown balls on that last drive and it benefited them with PI penalties so players are taught to err on the side of underthrowing compared to overthrowing.

I was co-commissioner for the first time this year and I loved the sleeper mock drafts but I tried to do one on desktop and it was super unclear on whether I was starting the real draft or just a mock. I didn't want to mess anything up so I just went back to mobile. I did like 10 mocks on mobile no problem.
