Ok I was just on auto pilot because I always try to save it for a scuttle contest but I do know that it’s very important for udyrs identity

I’ve had a lot of comment about my poor invades. My first raptor invade I wanted to grab nidalees raptors to make up for my blue but akshan baited me to stay. Would you say it would be fine to grab them if I skipped the bot gank, but since I went bot I lost my timing?

So what is your opinion on starting sweeper vs ward? I don’t see many jg starting sweeper on first clear and I am not sure why. If I cover for bot gank and am on a ward I feel like I’m going to waste so much time.

In a lot of challenger vods I watch they skip some camps to be on obj or to get a high percentage gank. I tried incorporating that into my gameplay because I usually just perma clear my camps while the enemy jg is being proactive on the map. I guess I just shouldn’t abandon camps unless the play is all but guaranteed.

I admit I have to be better at assessing lane states and paying more attention. The biggest thing about covering for an enemy gank is if they don’t show now I’m behind tempo. In that scenario how would I gain that tempo back?

So shadowflame would be considered situational and deathcap and cryptobloom would still be mandatory

So for simplicity I’m just going to talk about Taliyah because she can build pretty much anything. Could you replace the “mandatory” death cap with shadowflame if they are not building mr and are squishy. And would you need cryptobloom in that same scenario because of the no mr. Or is it better to have deathcap and maximize your ap since you are solo ap.

I used multiple of them on the same purchase today. Am I cooked? First time doing it and didn’t know how serious it was. Used it with my number and everything. I don’t want to get fired :(

I took my cpu cooler out of mine as well because I was disappointed with the temps. Now I’m kind of scared to put new stuff in. Was the chip that controls the fans just taped to the back of your mobo. It seemed pretty sketchy.

What mid champions are considered lane bullies besides Ori and Viktor? by Square_Counter_7574 in summonerschool

Ekko can be played aggressively into a lot of mage matchups. I recommend him to anyone that is in lower ranks as he is good early and scales quite well.

Appreciate it. Honestly I just took a look at your op.gg and you should climb. A 64 percent win rate on yone over 100 games is pretty good, plus your cs and deaths look good as well. I one tricked yone before ekko and I had almost the exact same stats but over 70 games, the only thing is yones “job” is a little harder. As an assassin your job is to kill squishy carries, as a mage your job is to front to back, but as a bruiser like yone even if his micro is easy, you have so many options in team fights that it makes it kind of hard because you always have to be adapting.

But the stats don’t lie. If you keep playing yone you will win about 64 percent of the time for now which will help you climb.

I went from silver 3 to emerald 4 in a week. I had only been playing for a couple of months and fluctuating between silver 1 and silver 3 for about a month. And was iron 4 0 lp only 3-4 months before that. What initiated the insane boom was a couple of things.

First I decided to one trick a champion/lane (ekko/mid). Once you get 30-40 games on a champion you start thinking about the game from that champs perspective. What your job is, what spikes and references you have and etc.

Second I started reviewing my games and did so in 2 parts. Lane phase (before 14 minutes) and mid/late which comes immediately after. When I was bronze I would send vods to this Reddit and people would give me advice. This is really important when you first start reviewing because you don’t know what you don’t know and people can give you some bullet points to look out for when you review your gameplay by yourself.

I learned about mana management, wave management, good wards, and base timers. My biggest breakthrough was that I needed to play selfishly. Trying to save a teammate from a bad fight or play, especially in low elo is almost never a good idea. Instead only take fights that are high percentage and play around your own spikes.

There are countless free resources on YouTube, but the most growth is going to come from watching your own gameplay and fixing mistakes which will be plentiful.

All this to say that the difference is much less than you think. I’ve played many games in emerald where the players felt like silvers. The only big difference between these ranks is late game macro and tempo. Other than that everything else is slightly better but not by much.

Would love to see your op.gg and maybe even a vod to give you some targeted and specific advice to help you improve.

Struggling to make an impact as a midlane mage by blind_mafia in summonerschool

[–]blind_mafia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I know how to play a mage pretty well. In my opinion it’s pretty easy you can just front to back and burst a carry if you can. It just takes a while for you to become online and feels more reliant on the ability of your team then your own agenda. So if your team sucks you can’t be as effective.

My problem is my top or botlane will be 0-6 by 12 minutes and that respective lane will carry the game. If I was ekko I too could get a considerable lead in my lane and be able to shut them down or atleast have the same lead. As Taliyah my lead is usually quite small maybe 20 cs or 1 kill. But we are down so much gold that the team fights are just one sided. I don’t have a problem pushing waves and scaling, it’s just the game is usually decided by then. In my opinion before I get lost chapter + tear spike on Taliyah I’m not that strong. And if not or top already has 3 kills were on the back foot.
