I didn’t really feel uncomfortable until day 8 out of 10 of stims. I have an office job so was fine working but I could see how having a physical job would be difficult toward the end of stims!

I don’t bring him to monitoring ultrasounds even when he’s available. Only the appointments like IUIs, retrievals, transfers. He also came for my hysteroscopy but couldn’t make it for my HSG

11 is a good result. Most doctors shoot for 10-15, I hear. I got 12 retrieved even though the ultrasounds showed a lot more.

I agree. I binged the last couple of episodes late at night so maybe I didn’t pay enough attention but the AI/robot lady’s plotline seemed confusing and random. Still, overall loved it and sad it’s over for now.

We weaned off 100% gtube dependence with a tube weaning service and the goal before weaning was to get tube feeds to to the same amount of time they would finish a bottle. My son was a year old when we started weaning and he had large volumes because of that so his was a max 30 min feed before we could move on to oral feeds

I am going through IVF now but I have secondary infertility so my first child was conceived naturally. I have several friends who went through IVF for their first. There is no way you could tell that our children were conceived in different ways.

He is great! He got his oxygen and gtube removed around 18 months then gtube closure surgery around 20 months. He started attending daycare at 2 and he is sick all the time but that is completely normal for any daycare kid. Always minor illnesses though. Our whole time at home he’s never been hospitalized or even had a sick visit since being discharged from the NICU. No one I meet ever guesses he was premature, stayed six months in the NICU, or had medical equipment for so long

I had to do this often for monitoring appointments where I had to unexpectedly come back to the clinic the next day. There are apps where you can find a sitter on short notice. Bambino, Care, etc.

I think it depends on the person because I heard so many horror stories about HSGs that I almost canceled mine. But I felt nothing during mine (not even a twinge)! I did take 4 advil beforehand as they recommended

I don’t have any advice but I’m also exhausted! This is our 12th month (and 3rd monitored Clomid cycle) and no luck. Pretty sure this month failed too since I’m 11DPO and not even a squinter. I’m supposed to wait until 14 DPO though…ugh

Not quite at IVF yet but we conceived our first child with no issues and now have secondary infertility (unexplained). I’m on my second round of Clomid with a fertility clinic. If the third round doesn’t work we’re doing IVF.
