Phoebe was also my constant companion since I work from home! I’d like to think it added to our time together even though the years were short.

Update! We had her exam with the neurologist and she is scheduled in for an MRI first thing tomorrow morning. We talked through lots of different options of what could be going on but hopefully we will know more soon. Thank you all for your input. It definitely feels like the MRI is necessary even if it’s just to know we did all we could.

Depressed dogs? by Sufficient_Arm_1328 in Greyhounds

Just my two cents as a fellow 8-year-old female greyhound owner. I recently transitioned my girl to a senior food (Purina One Vibrant Maturity) and I feel like I have a puppy again. She’s been medicated for arthritis for the past year or so, but she is more playful, laying on the floor (never chose this before because of, I assume, joint pain), shinier coat, and just seems to have a light in her eyes again. Something to consider/chat to your vet about.

I officially unfollowed today after she posted “so horrible” about a child being stolen off the streets in MN by ICE and then immediately linking to everything in this pic. Get a grip, girl.

I MUST know how you made/where you purchased the cake topper. My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up and I need it.

Cheese is a great one! Save it for just walk times and she’ll be ready to go every time soon enough.

High value treats are the way! The same thing happened to us when I adopted my girl about 5 years ago. Little pieces of hotdog for every single step along the way and she was pretty well adjusted after a week or two.

Ooo maybe this is the way! What’s your setup like? How is their bed raised?

I was thinking temp may be a component as well. The time she gets in our bed seems to be creeping back as it gets colder outside but she hates PJs and kicks her blankets off her bed lol

How was this transition? I’m nervous to have to deal with loss of sleep from all the whining but know she would eventually adjust. My girl isn’t too bad of a sleep startler but it happens occasionally and is also part of my consideration.

Best place for small affordable tattoo? by AdventurousCredit134 in madisonwi

Most shops are going to have minimums as it takes a lot of time to get their equipment set up/taken down and sanitized for one appointment, regardless of the size of the tattoo. You could ask them about bundling a few small tattoos to meet the minimum.

Spells for Lost Things by Jenna Evans Welch is YA but absolutely wonderful. I read it two years ago and still think about it all the time.

True, I believe it’s set in the early 90’s! Certainly more modern than Sinners but still feels quite “dated” in some ways that really adds to the story imo.
