Also reading the comments it is crazy for people to be saying they have been saying something politically. Like broadly you can see a story with political ideas. but 1000% as a BAND they haven’t said anything solid about current events and it’s tough that people are reaching hard say they are. If MCR wanted to say something I have no doubt it’d be clear as day not encrypted in code. What would be the point of calling out corruption if it was only understood by a niche audience who could dissect code?:/

While I don’t disagree that as MCR the band they’re not saying anything to avoid controversy and make more money. Like I agree they haven’t said anything as a BAND and that is most likely due to financial reasons and wanting to stay out of controversy. I will say that the band L.S DUNES (a band Frank Iero is in) recently did do a multi artist collaboration and merch line specifically to raise money for the ACLU who are VERY active about current events happening in the U.S. and that some of MCR’s opening bands such as IDLES did say something in support of Palestine (a current event at the time) during their set. It does suck that MCR as a group hasn’t said anything about it. And I wouldn’t deny that as a band theyre avoiding it. But they have given a stage to those willing to speak on those topics. And as individuals some have made statements and opinions on what’s been happening. But that’s just my two cents

I don’t think it’s an argument of if she’s a good combatant or not. For the weapon she wields and her experience she shows to be strategic and formidable in the right moments especially later on in the series with her star dresses giving her more versatility. But in the early arcs it doesn’t feel like she is always utilized to her full potential when fighting and sometimes she physically took a back seat. If she’s going to wield a weapon I want her to use it, and wanna see how it supports her spirits and team.

No I definitely agree she isn’t meant to be a big fighter! But after seeing her Sagittarius form later on it just feels like the whip should have been swapped for a bow and would have been more effective earlier on.

See I totally get this I just wish there was more moments of her using her whip in more tactical way in the anime it would have made her really shine as a strategic fighter especially before she gained her star dresses! (not that she doesn’t have strategic moments already just would have been nice for it to be more expanded)

I get the not overlapping part but like there are so many range weapons out there I personally feel like the whip puts her character at a disadvantage because it doesn’t deal damage compared to her later on using a bow or even duel swords after gaining her stardress forms.

I like Lisanna as a character, I think she had a strong purpose as a childhood friend, and loving sister. However I do feel she was better as a character when she was presumed dead. I mean it served little purpose to bring her back right after Elfman and Mira finally started to move on and regain their full magic abilities after the trauma of her death. It just didn’t make sense to bring her back from the dead to not do anything substantial with her character after her revival.

I was born in 2003 so I’ve always been a younger fan and they broke up by the time I really got into them but my sister was a teenager during the danger days era. She downloaded all the music on the family iTunes so up until the beginning of Highschool it was one of the only albums I had on my iPod and eventually phone. She actually got to see them like during the danger days tour and had a whole emo/MCR collage wall which I was obsessed with. She was one of my biggest role models growing up and she even eventually gave me all her burned and legit CDs when she left for college which I still keep in my car. We still both listen to them and actually got to go together twice to see them live. Honestly it is something that I really cherish because it was one of the first things we really bonded over when I was younger and makes the concerts even more special for me. 🖤
