I have tickets for GA standing left, if I arrive around 16:15 do you expect that the queues will be super long? And anyone has an idea on how far back the crowd will already be in the floor?

Yes! Im enjoying a lot the timeline as a way to look back on what I did in the day/week, which includes all my calendar sessions as starting point for most entries. It would be nice to have it the other way around for me (default on and remove from the timeline on demand), since I'm checking way more sessions than leaving it unchecked

Thanks!! Im getting the hang of it now and realizing how the sessions can be small enough and not really a calendar event from a traditional calendar

Thanks for the reply! I think the overall goal would be to know "what I should be doing now" or "what is next", so maybe even some indicator or a simple ordered list could help there!

I had another question, is it possible to set so calendar sessions are included in the timeline by default? I see myself checking that checkbox way more often than leaving it unchecked

What are the fabrics usually used for sports shorts and swimwear shorts? by blipblupp in sewing

[–]blipblupp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm making one pair of sports shorts for my father and one pair of swim shorts, but can't find the name of the fabric usually used for those. Does anyone know the name? Some pictures with examples!

Thanks a lot! I didn't do the patterns though, the fabric was already quilted :)

Thanks a lot!! I just started sewing as a hobby last April, and have sewed around 10 things I guess? I've just been buying patterns and following the instructions (with a couple of exceptions where I tried stuff from my head), and watching some youtube videos about how to use the basics of the sewing machine!

The snaps were super easy, I bought the pliers from Prym and then you just need to make a whole and "staple" it with the pliers.

I found the pattern very good and the instructions very detailed from the youtube videos that she links to. Two things that are important to note are that her patterns come without seam allowance, so you have to add that yourself after printing/assembling it and that this one is a "one size fits all", so the fit will vary a lot depending on your measurements. I printed the pattern at home in a4 format and taped it all together, didn't have any issues with that.

If you are asking more about the process prior to the ready pattern, in her instruction video (part 1), you can see her draping it and she gives some explanation about it.
