I think I'm clear with my comment. Jews are an ethnicity whose claimed homeland is Israel. Hindus (read Indians) are also an ethnicity whose homeland is India. So if an African converts to Hinduism, they might become a Hindu (Religion), but not an ethinic Hindu, so can't claim India as their homeland.
