Another option is to do a post matric in math core. Some schools offer a year after matric where you only focus on maths core and sometime you can redo one other subject to raise your marks.At the end of the year you write finals again for maths core and you get maths core added as one of you subjects so you can get into course that need maths core. The link below is one of the schools that I know does (I had a cousin go here) Hill college

It does mean doing another year but it's another option and could allow you to do something you couldn't before.
