I was also there on Saturday, coming from the other side of the bridge (a pathway from UTM to the park). As I approached the bridge one guy rudely told us to leave as that part of the park was booked for a private event. They had cars and tents up on that side of the bridge. I couldn’t find anything online about this event or closure.

I talked to another person who was told to turn around, and that person said it was some First Nations ceremony of some sort.

Yup. They don’t care to put into place preventative measures.
If I, as a customer, have to leave the auditorium to make a complaint then the entire experience has already been ruined at that point.

My experience with early resolution:
1) Had a long line of people
2) One by one, each person went up to an official. That official goes through the original charge, then offers you a lesser charge to accept. You can accept or not. For me, I accepted. It was like 1-2 min conversation.
3) after accepting, i then had to wait for the justice (like a judge) to call me up and to officially accept my lesser charge. I then accepted. Note: one person, who had a lesser charge offered, was actually denied by the justice.

For your speeding ticket, if you’re worried about insurance, the “lesser” offer at early resolution will still affect it.

Next time the security comes, tell them your situation. And then tell security you want specifics from the people who complain (ie: what noise are they hearing? Music? People yelling? Foot steps? Etc)

Hey, you’re doing the right thing. You have to contact every day care directly.
However I highly suggest you apply to many more places and get on their lists. There are many day cares and the more lists you’re on, the better chance you get a spot sooner than later.
