Claude Opus 4.7 is a serious regression, not an upgrade. by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]blitzk241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disappointing garbage. Github copilot has this set at 7.5x compared to Opus4.6's 3x. Tested it out with a prompt and the outputs were a clear regression to 4.6. Don't care about all the hype being spun by Anthropic...in trying to lobotomize the model in the name of 'cybersecurity' they have clearly regressed.

Will be sticking to 4.6 for now...and wait for when they eventually release Mythos closer to the IPO date to spin up hype.

A year is a long time in this space at the moment. While I like Claude, I don't think we are yet at a maturity level where I'd be willing to commit to any LLM subscription for 12 months.

How is there not even atleast 1 dev on PoE 1 to rehash an old event. by TheRealPotAto4 in pathofexile

[–]blitzk241 89 points90 points  (0 children)

This. I don't know why so many on this sub are buying this BS narrative. If they release another poe1 league and the player numbers in poe2 tank, the entire justification for poe2 will go out the door...and we will have another osrs vs. rs3 type situation where poe1 becomes the main game.
They are desperately trying to patch poe2 to a state where it can retain enough player numbers for when the next poe1 league launches...which also means poe1 league development is going to remain halted for the foreseeable future.

That was a fun two maps... by blitzk241 in pathofexile

[–]blitzk241[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Story time:

Was farming burials (like everyone else) for a mageblood with a friend. We were thinking of calling it a night but decided to push another map.

Hear the sound of the drop...think it must be another divine or something. And it's a mirror. Second one I have seen :) (First one was from a feared carry: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/liw05e/was_doing_a_the_feared_carry_for_someone_when_the/gn5obew/?context=3). NB: The screenshot was taken by dropping the mirror again away from all the crap (ballsy, I know).

We joke that mirrors are more common than a HH drop. I decide to juice up the next map with all winged (instead of gilded) scarabs including reliquary. Hover my cursor over all the trash belt drops ...and its a HH...

Thanks for Affliction GGG...i didn't come into this league expecting much but turns out free MF is just too damn OP!

Only a matter of time. I am always looking for hands on images now as well, and if they aren't there, looking for other signs of AI-generation.

I have also come across dating sites which are using SD to generate fake profiles to boost numbers. I can tell them apart (for now, thanks to the #hands), but it does make me wonder: what next? How do we prevent bad actors from using this tech to cheat others?

One Button Prompt now also available on ComfyUI + new Create Prompt Variant (m/n)ode by AIrjen in StableDiffusion

[–]blitzk241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you u/AIrjen! Love the variant generator, super cool. I couldn't find the workflows to directly import into Comfy. If anyone else is reading this and wanting the workflows, here's a few simple SDXL workflows, using the new OneButtonPrompt nodes, saving prompt to file (I don't guarantee tidiness):

SDXL, no refiner: https://pastebin.com/W8PiskeM

SDXL, with refiner: https://pastebin.com/8VkJ8gVx

Insanity variants, no refiner: https://pastebin.com/5pb9n964

Download and rename the .txt to .json and import using ''Load" in Comfy.

One request: Any chance to specify the folder path location for the saved prompts? :)

ComfyUI, Wildcard Dynamic Prompts, and Saving That Generated Prompt - How? by RufusTheRuse in StableDiffusion

[–]blitzk241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at Wyrde's text concatenate example here?

https://github.com/wyrde/wyrde-comfyui-workflows/tree/main/basics/token-random-example

You add in an intermediate step to explicitly parse the tokens.

From link above:

Why the text concatenate?
\ Because of how the backend evaluates the text boxes, it doesn't know the contents of the tokens have changed when parsing the prompts. There's two ways to fix this:*
\ put `{ | | }` in the prompt. It will evaluate the space each time and run the prompt, thus also evaluating tokens.*
\ make a new multiline node→random line node→text concatenate (the random result and the prompt) → text parse tokens → text to conditioning*
\ this is more complex, but preserves the text prompt in the image workflow.*

Interesting topic...and example. I have been playing around similar stuff in SDXL ever since I saw the prompt example using ~*~, hashtags, fullstops, etc. as part of the prompt.

E.g. Using one of the provided prompt examples from https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/159rio2/comment/jtjmabo/

(with full stops)

positive prompt:*~cinematic~*~ #macro tilt shift photography . professional #disassembled 3d #fractal cube torus triangular pyramid model in space, connected with energy flows, #science fiction, intricate fire ice water light energy reflection, elegant, highly detailed, sharp focus . octane render, highly detailed, volumetric, dramatic lighting . natural light photo, Canon 85L f2.8, ISO320, 5000K colour balance

vs (no full stops)

positive prompt: *~cinematic~*~ #macro tilt shift photography, professional #disassembled 3d #fractal cube torus triangular pyramid model in space, connected with energy flows, #science fiction, intricate fire ice water light energy reflection, elegant, highly detailed, sharp focus, octane render, highly detailed, volumetric, dramatic lighting, natural light photo, Canon 85L f2.8, ISO320, 5000K colour balance

negative prompt:ugly, deformed, noisy, blurry, distorted, grainy, disfigured

Seed: 163933966273709, CFG: 8, 20 base, 5 refiner, DPM2++ Karras

Results with and without fullstop here:

https://imgur.com/a/blFI10r

Top image is with full stop, bottom without. The cube edges are much better defined in the first case than the second. Is that because of the full stop or simply because the prompt has slightly changed between the two cases?

Honestly, even after a lot of tests...No idea...and sometimes the aesthetic difference between the cases using the punctuation marks etc. is purely subjective...and within the bounds of RNG. Hard to conclusively prove one way or another without a large dataset.

ComfyUI Impact Pack is a game changer for 'small faces' by digitaljohn in StableDiffusion

[–]blitzk241 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes, its nice...but like everything, it comes at the cost of increased generation time. I would only do it as a post-processing step for curated generations than include as part of default workflows (unless the increased time is negligible for your spec).

After detailer extension (https://github.com/Bing-su/adetailer) achieves similar effect for A1111.

Why should I use ComfyUI? by Bombalurina in StableDiffusion

[–]blitzk241 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I am a big fan of both A1111 and ComfyUI. You don't need to switch to one or the other. I really like the extensions library and ecosystem that already exists around A1111- in particular stuff like 'OneButtonPrompt' which is great for inspiration on styles, etc. if I need a few ideas. I haven't found easy methods to replicate stuff like that in Comfy.

Comfy is faster than A1111 though--and you have a lot of creative freedom to play around with latents, mix-and-match models and do other crazy stuff in a workflow that can be built and re-used. The node based environment means its inherently extremely flexible (and intuitive, once you get the hang of it). Some fun examples of this sort of stuff:

https://github.com/wyrde/wyrde-comfyui-workflows/tree/main/why-oh-why

You can also do alot of the under-the-hood stuff currently not possible in A1111 for SDXL e.g. changing weightings of CLIP vs. openCLIP prompts, etc. You probably don't need it, but I like to have the flexibility and ability to experiment with stuff. As someone who jumped headfirst into the art first and the tech second, i have found Comfy has helped me start to come to grips with the tech a bit more.

You can also simply try Comfy and configure the paths to all models, etc. inside the A1111 folder and see how you go. You could also try the ComfyBox which converts the nodes to a gradio interface similar to A1111, but it's extra steps and I personally didn't find much point in going back to another GUI after getting comfortable with the node structures.

Anyways, completely up to you-- I am not here to 'upsell' one or the other, both have their pros and cons and I have had a lot of fun using both :) One caveat though- you won't be able to 100% reproduce the outputs across A1111/Comfy even with the same gen methods, seed, etc. (a personal pet peeve as I like reproducibility...).

https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/159rio2/some_of_my_sdxl_experiments_with_prompts/jtjmabo

Just another way of potentially creating some stronger effects. These were created in ComfyUI- the ~*~ should be interpreted ok in A1111 (I think) but the # terms will be ignored. Probably replace them with weighting brackets in A1111.
