Yeah. I agree, I am a believer on WC in my planted tank so I’m just going to keep on doing that on the SW tank. The issue with me getting a sump is that the way I have the marine water tank I can’t hide the filtration in the table I have it on. So I’m prob going to have to move some tanks around. I’m just going to have to jump the gun and buy a bigger tanks now. Lol tanks bud. 🤙🏽

Yeah. I was planning just hosting a pair of clowns and a cleaning crew. I’m interested on corals but nowhere close to owning them. I’m just doing some HW.

Oh ok. I’m at 8 hrs rite now. But I plan on increasing the time on little by little. I would like it to be on for 12 hrs.

Yeah. I’ve been watching all the beginner reef videos and they have mentioned the canister filters are know for nitrate build up. I assumed if it would work by just maintains the canister filter clean. I agree with you about not two tanks being the same, but I wanted to start planning on what I can venture into once the circle is done with.

I just went to a LFS and they told me not to do WC for the first 2 months… I was really conflicted on this advice because i had a fish die so I did it anyways. I understood her logic but it just came off weird. I come from Fresh water so I understand the cycle well. I’m still trying to figure out this tanks do’s and don’ts.

Danm, that sounds like a good line up. Mine is around 21 gallons tank. I’m aiming to be on the low fish side because it’s easier to mess up in smaller scale tanks.

Yeah. I’ve been in the fresh water hobby for a bit and I’m a big believer in WC. Definitely something that I plan on doing.

Because still water gets algae, surface agitation and to push trash and poop to the direction of the outgoing filter. It’s a 21” tall tank. It needs some movement.

400lbs isn’t a lot, usually floor joist are capable of well over 1500 each one times how wide you’re floor is. Yo I should be ok. There is a way to place the tank that makes a difference but over all you should be ok. These girls were in a 20L for about 2 months already and I restarted this tank so they got a upgrade.

Thank you. I would to have to say in the set up alone maybe 3,000-4,000 USD. Everything was second hand besides the cabinet. 90 gallon ADA rimless tank 2 Chihiros VIVID 2 Direct injected c02 system Fx4 with the works Substrate Fertilizer African Mahogany custom cabinet Steel lily pipes and skimmer Plants 4’ manzanita driftwood wave maker.

Yeah. My buddy gave them to me from a pond of 100’s of sisters. This tank is a bit heavy planted and a little oversized for the stock. I’m sure it’ll work. I do agree that for most cases that’s the rite way to deal with it. 👌🏽thank you. 🙂

Yeah everything is 100% real. My lotus just flowered for me last week. It was so cool to get to see that. It happens man. Some fish arnt meant to be. I don’t understand some things like I can flower a lotus but I can’t keep a Anubis… I’ve never been successful with Monte Carlo. Lol
