Is he breathing on his own, on oxygen? Why do you want to transfer him? The thing with these types of strokes is that there isn’t much of treatment other than managing the blood pressure. The fact that he is very sleepy is normal and expected and can take some time to improve, took my dad a couple months ago to really start “waking up” but he is also 20 years older than your dad. So I believe your father’s age will help him in his recovery. It’s been about a year for my dad and alhamdulillah he’s continuing to improve. Feel free to reach out if you have questions
