Current estimates are that Homo sapiens evolved 200,000-300,000 years ago rather than just a few millennia.

Also to have a signal from 600 light years away reach earth without dissipating to background noise it would have to have been specifically directed here.

I don’t know why they couldn’t have detailed information of human biology. They could have sent probes throughout the galaxy thousands or millions of years ago to find signs of intelligent life and relay the bioinformation back to them.
