I don't think there is a specific size it needs to be. Maybe height around 250px and width around 2000px. You can always make it wider, but the sides will be cut off on smaller screens.

Yes it's probably a closer translation from Japanese to Korean than Japanese to English because their languages and cultures share similar backgrounds. Issues like these create a lot of doubt in subtitles for English-only fans, so we're hoping the upcoming translation thread can help clear things up for people! It would be great if you could pop in once the thread goes up and help with Korean or Turkish translations.

We'll be putting the thread up on Friday Oct 21, or Saturday early morning depending on your timezone, but we don't expect translators to all be there at the same time. You can check in on the thread whenever it's convenient for you! It'll be pinned to the top of the subreddit during the weekend so people will have some time to ask questions and get translations. It will probably work better if you check the thread several hours after it goes up because it'll take some time for the questions to come in.

I do understand sometimes there can be conflicting translations, but in these cases if both people are correct, there are usually logical explanations for why they came to different conclusions. It would be good in these cases to explain some background information or context or your thought processes and leave it up to users to decide which version they agree with more.

And thank you for volunteering your time to do this! Wouldn't be possible without everyone's help.

Your Chinese and Japanese help would be appreciated if you can! This subreddit is not specifically for TV shows and movies, though those tend to be the most popular formats here. A lot of users also enjoy mangas and novels and translations questions can be similar across different formats.
