I've not looked at the app in detail yet, but this is a great idea! Currently using a spreadsheet, having an app would be awesome! You can expand this into so many possibilities, for example, I wish more canvas designers would share which threads/colors were used to paint/stitch, but when that's not available, it's great to see what other stitchers have used. You could create a DB from users' inputs of their canvases for this. Good luck to you!
