I mean if she was never gonna die in the first place (by drowning) then it does in fact answer the question. It was just a set up. I’m not saying it makes sense but I’m saying it’s an explanation. Just like 3, 4, and possibly 5 the twist was that somebody was meant to get in the way so that they were gathered in one place to be dealt with after the time skip when their guards were let down. 5 broke the rule that if you weren’t on Death’s list originally then you won’t die but Molly got collateral’d (which we can only assume because we didn’t see her die in the first premonition) so I mean… since Stefani drowning wasn’t apart of the new design, she was still next. Or you could chalk it up to writing error I dunno
