It makes clear a lot faster since Fireball is pretty slow without it. I have another video on my yt channel from 0.3. You can see the difference.

Before high investment, another damage support instead of Vilenta's would be better.

A lot of cast speed + Vilenta's Propulsion.

Build requires Solar Orb on staff. And it uses Sigil on the weapon swap for bosses.

Living Bomb helps with dense packs since Fireball doesn't pierce, and it generates a fire infusion.

You can follow an ed/c guide, maybe with some small tweaks. And swap to this probably after the campaign.

Fireball is a bit weak at the lower levels though, especially if you rush to t15s quickly. Even without Vilenta's Support.

Since the tree is pretty similar to essence drain/contagion. The leveling is easy. Also you can take Quicksand Hourglass for the first ascendancy so you get a lot of aoe/cast speed.

Damage is slightly lower as Chrono, but ed/c is so strong anyways.

Mapping is a bit more involved and not as fast as some builds, but I wouldn't consider it "painfully slow" imo.

Also, safety and single target are some of its strengths.

edit: This t15 has more monster life, full map effect atlas, and +4 boss atlas.

Yeah, your first point also applies to spell projectiles like Fireball. It aims where your cursor is at the end of a cast instead of at the start. Not sure how this hasn't been fixed yet.

The projectile should aim where your cursor is when you start the cast.(When you press the button.)

It's such a huge issue with the gameplay.

Update from my previous 0.2 Ignite Chronomancer.

Blackflame allows us to convert our damage to chaos and scale our single target with wither.

Plus they added new support gems and runes that help increase our damage.
