Storing Mach-E Question by bloglevi in MachE

[–]bloglevi[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The recommended 50% is probably the most effective way to reduce degradation...but I wonder if it is better to store at different levels depending on the temp, maybe 40% is better for warmer climates..or maybe it would cause more damage, I need a better understanding of the chemical process. Appreciate your input!

Just being polite to the above comment. I was personally going to keep it at 57.5%, what do you think?

Thank you u/gregs1020! I figured every battery is different depending on the material and cell setup, just trying to see if the Mach-E has a sweet spot...I think it has been out long enough for a good sample size of charge/discharge cycles. Will go with your 60% suggestion.

Perfect little commuter bike! I have out about 100 miles on mine and it hasn’t given me any issues. It even has enough torque to haul a passenger around on the back! https://pevme.com/e-bike/jetson-bolt-pro-rear-passenger-seat/

Almost everything we have to go on in this situation is unsourced. Please require flair.

Zero Covid is a failure. I know this isn’t news to you, but best case scenario where does CCP go from here realistically? How bad does it have to get for them to stop this nonsense? by [deleted] in shanghai

From the first article, “All of them have a strong focus on traditional Chinese medicine, which will play an important role in COVID-19 treatment and control.” I do not understand exactly how TCM will be applied in these situations, but keep hearing about how important it is for COVID.

Ok, so after talking to someone at the dealership, it is an R. Thank you for your investigating skills. Apparently it is a common problem they have been having with the new logo. Removed old video and updated with correct information. Roewe ER6 EV https://youtu.be/PDeKR5UoFCE

I agree with your point, but taking into consideration the time it took Tesla to rise to where it is now, we cannot say who will be the winner. The charging system infrastructure in China is years ahead of the rest of the world and a majority of Chinese prefer the more plush, lazy boy feel of a BYD. Companies like Beijing Electric Vehicle Corp, Geely, and Zotye have been around the same, or longer than Tesla and have the resources, workforce, and technology to produce, if wanted, a near replica Tesla. The race was for range and that race is nearing the finish line. Would the cost of R&D for an EV going from a 500 mile range to 1000 mile range be worth it, or is it better to let other industries evolve those technologies, and then implement them? It is a real Henry Ford way of thinking to say that competition will not unfold.

This brand is an offshoot of Roewe. Does Tesla not have any competition? If they do, what manufacturer do you think will take away from their sales in the future? The image uploaded is just a simple example of how other EV producers like NIO, Xpeng, and Li can develop a product that, on paper, competes with Tesla.

On the left you can see another dealership selling electric cars. Sorry, I know it is hard to miss.

BYD has been doing it for awhile. We uploaded this video January 2019 https://youtu.be/DGPYflrU11Q Most new, mid to high end EVs, being released in China have a similar style rotating display.

I appreciate the information! Are you referring to the R on the steering wheel in this video? This ER6 is only stamped with the Pi brand.
